Mike Worth writes music for video game developers that want their games to be emotional and dramatic, and video game companies who want their gamers to lose themselves in their games. He brings his musical background in rock and film music, along with his passion and enjoyment for video games, to his clients to help them realize their vision of how their games should make their gamers feel.

Mike first began composing while in small rock bands throughout high school and college. By the time Mike had graduated college, he had already recorded two albums with the progressive rock band, Population 3, and had begun to establish his trademark energetic, melodic sound. After graduating, Mike continued to expand his technique, enrolling in New York University's prestigious Film Scoring graduate program, and assisting veteran musician and composer Scott Healy in his Manhattan studio. From the first film projects, Mike's voice has been squarely in the emotional, dramatic area. His emotional orchestral score for the award winning short, Neighbors, evoked a lonely and estranged relationship between mothers of children with differing religious beliefs, and was widely praised in its premiere at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Mike's ability to create melodic and authentic folk music landed him an opportunity to provide additional music for the New Line Cinema feature, Rush Hour 3. Mike was asked to provide an Irish dance for a scene in the movie, and produced a production-ready song, complete with accordion and piano, in under 24 hours. At the same time, Mike delivered a quirky, offbeat score to accompany the Mtv pilot webisode, Benny The Stoat, again with Mike's trademark energy and craftsmanship.

Although his first year composing created many successes in film and television, Mike realized that his voice, talent, and love was in working with video game developers who want their games to feel exciting and dramatic. His background in progressive rock and orchestral training under Emmy winning film composers Mike Patterson and Sonny Kompanek gives Mike the perfect set of skills to create an exciting, emotional score for video games that require an epic, immersive feel. At the same time, Mike's background enables him to create catchy, fun textures suitable for use in online, "casual" video games. He is currently working with several clients in the Philadelphia and New York area, and is writing music for various third party groups affiliated with the Dungeons & Dragons Online Video Game. He is currently active with the Manhattan Producers' Alliance, ASCAP, Audio GANG, and the Interactive Audio Special Interest Group.
